7 Life Changing Lessons I Learned From The Alchemist

Approximately six years ago out of nowhere I got this idea to read this amazing book. Paulo Coelho’s The alchemist. Most celebrated personal development book out there ever created.

But I didn’t know that was a personal development or motivational kind of story. No one said it to me. But once I started to leaf through the pages I began to wonder why the hell on earth I didn’t give it a try before.

May be because I was weak in English. But the book has already translated to more than one hundred languages, obviously to my native language too. But, I didn’t have the inspiration to read it before.

The Lead

When I first decided to improve my English language, I started surfing the google “how to become better at English fast”. But google always said, there’s no quick methods to reach your goals. Instead gave me some ideas.

Sooner or later, I realised I have to invest a lot of time to get good at English language. However, I figured out some techniques and tips other English learner’s shared through websites like fluent U. Noted all of them in my goal book.

The first tip was “read a lot of English’. What? I’m not very fond of reading at that time. In the past I’d read a lot of fiction but not now. That too was not in English. I thought about it for a moment and decided to read “The Alchemist”. My first Book in English.

Without any doubt I can say that, the decision I took few years ago to read the Alchemist is the best decision I ever took in my life. It was life changing. I couldn’t resist myself from reading The Alchemist again and again (More than 100 times). Every time I read new ideas pops up. That’s how all my concepts and ideas about this material world and philosophical ideas destroyed and rebuilt.

Here in this article I would like to share you guys some quotes in the Alchemist I found amazing or thought provoking. I’m sure you’ll love it. Remember all the quotes are attributed to the publishers of the Alchemist. I’m just sharing them as a fare use. Let’s get started with the first one.
