How to Install a submersible type water pump by yourself? I did a video on this topic few years back, it performed well on YouTube. Then many of my friends told me to write a well structured tutorial for my blog. But at that time I found it inappropriate for this blog content.
Nearly 3 years after, now I think it is a relevant content since this blog is about how to make and how to build stuffs. I strongly recommend you to watch the video first, then you can Read this post. Sometime you may find it unneccessary. However In this post I have included some images to showcase the information.

Submersible Monoblock Pump 1HP, ( Kirloskar KOSi-135 (4 Star HP Openwell Submersible Pump (Multicolour) Click to buy.
Control Panel, Thread seal, shellac, hose clip, cable, hose collar, hose and Rope.
How to Install Submersible Water Pump – Steps
- Remove inlet and outlet Rubber Packing
- After that Connect Blue bend to inlet
- Connect Filter to Blue bend
- Remove the lifting bolts and fill water, fix bolts.
- Firstly, Fix Hose Collar
- secondly, Connect hose to the hose collar
- Then, most importantly, Connect enough length wire and Rope to the pump, and Submerse.
- Connect Wire to the controll panel and mains
- Make sure connections are right
- Then , Turn the DP SWITCH ON. Done.
Most importantly, If you found any fault or if the motor is not working, immediately turn the DP switch off and check what went wrong. Thats It, You are done.
